Head of Human Resources

Salary: £40k - £45k + benefits
Location: Grantham

Here at the Woodland Trust, we get people thinking - about conservation, biodiversity, the environment and of course, woodland. But we’re also committed to thinking about our people and that’s where you come in. Leading a team of HR professionals you will drive creative and innovative solutions to recruitment, performance, reward and employee relations issues.

In return you will have the freedom to use your initiative to create a truly great working environment, an excellent reward package and career development opportunities. For example, we are aiming to create a virtual learning platform to enable our staff to access internal expert knowledge on a variety of subjects. We're also building skills and behaviour development materials to allow a flexible and immediate response to most development needs.

An experienced HR professional with at least five years in a management role, you must be a natural and inspirational leader, who knows what it takes to get the best out of others. You will thrive on tackling complex and wide-reaching HR issues head on. Naturally resourceful and inventive in your approach, your commercial awareness will be matched by a strategic mind and the passion for putting people at the heart of everything you do.
